Kittens for safety. Aren’t they just so cute and cuddly?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Now, on to the content. I thought this was hilarious. Axelrod was a former senior adviser to Bill Clinton.

I forget- does it matter whether or not he concedes once the results are certified?

didn’t know if it would leave the door open for him to drag it out to infinity via challenges and recount requests. remember the 2000 presidential election.

Pretty much not, an automatic recount is only triggered if the margin of victory is less than 0.5% (it’s currently at ~1.5) but even if all remaining provisional and write-in votes went for Moore it still wouldn’t meet the threshold. That being said Alabama has some weird statute where Senators could possibly request a recount, but it’s one of those laws that’s subject to interpretation so it’s possible a judge wouldn’t allow it anyways.

Looks like Roy Moore has lost this election but is unwilling to concede. How terrible for something to happen to him without his consent.

THREAD HIJACK!
They put up some signs at IAH last month saying the it was the only airport in the US that had daily flights to all 6 continents. I doubt it’s the only airport that does

I doubt it too, but there’s that “daily” part. That would be interesting to look into.

An adviser with qualifications, seems alien compared to the current regime.
Still no concession either, I think.

Disappointing to see Democrats so eager to close down public lands tbh

Wasn’t he an Obama adviser too? Or was that a different Axelrod?

Probably both. He was (still is?) a big wheel in the DNC.

I bet David Axelrod’s parents cry themselves to sleep every night that he doesn’t work in the automotive field with a name like that.
Dick Trickle’s family is still glad he didn’t pursue porn.

In 2000, SCOTUS actually shut down the recounts.

yes, I’m aware of that. I merely said the drawn out process was excruciating.
